Dealerships, parks cleared to re-open
Phase 1 re-opening of the Ontario economy is underway.
Yesterday, the Government of Ontario announced that private parks and campgrounds can begin preparing for the 2020 season and offer access to full season campers with contracts on Saturday, May 16th at 12:01am. Retailers, including RV dealerships, may re-open Tuesday, May 19th at 12:01am.
All businesses, including campgrounds and RV dealerships, must maintain 2 metre physical distancing for both employees and customers. Officials recommend limiting the number of customers in your facilities, encourage pre-booked appointments and offer curbside pickup and deliveries.
The Ontario government prepared helpful guidelines for businesses as they re-open, and launched the Workplace PPE Supplier Director. This site lists Ontario companies and business associations that can supply personal protective equipment (PPE).
